Happy Rain Day

Today is National Rain Day in Australia. National Rain Day launches on May 8, 2007 at 11 a.m on the lawns of Parliament House in Canberra and at the Botanical Gardens in every capital city.
In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true. In the province of the mind, there are no limits.
We are desperate for rain in this country. National Rain Day proves it. I heard about it on ABC Radio. A caller rang in and explained the idea, which is that people around Australia stand bare foot in the dirt at about 11:00am today and pray and wish for rain in the hopes that if lots of people pray and wish hard enough then it will just happen. The radio announcer asked the caller she thought that would help but managed to check himself and admitted that it certainly couldn't hurt. The caller agreed and gave the website where people could download the visulization. The mass wish/prayer would be all the more powerful if everyone had the same visualizztion.

Not a bad idea. We even got a bit of a shower here this morning. In fact if it does work we should try it on other things. How about a "John Howard Spontaneously Combusts Day" or "George Bush Dies of a Heart Attack Day". They wouldn't even have to be annual... only need to work once...
